How to Help

The Woodrow Wilson Department of Politics accepts gifts from Alumni and others interested in supporting the work that we do. Donations to the Politics Department supplement salaries to allow us to retain the highest quality instructors and to sustain our commitment to superior education. The Department also relies on contributions to support cutting edge research by faculty on topics such as the role of public opinion in the formation of policy, globalization’s affect on the welfare state, the impact of indigenous stock markets in developing countries, and the effect of the War on Terrorism on American democracy. Finally, your contribution will help us to sustain a wide range of student activities — from visiting speakers, to small research grants, to colloquia on current topics. Currently, we are raising funds to renovate completely our student computer lab, a facility essential to our undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Gifts to the University of Virginia and its departments are tax deductible. If you would like to contribute, please follow this link. If you have questions please contact Anita Dodds at 434-924-6942.
