MISSION STATEMENT

The University of Virginia Investment Management Company (UVIMCO) provides investment management services to the Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia and its Related Foundations. UVIMCO strives to manage funds for maximum long-term real return commensurate with the risk tolerance of the University. Recognizing the University must attract outstanding students, faculty, and staff and provide appropriate resources to them, UVIMCO seeks to provide returns competitive with the endowment returns of other outstanding schools.
