The Life Course: Evolutionary and Ontogenetic Dynamics is an international Max Planck Research School program for the training of future generations of researchers in life-span development. The program, which integrates many different disciplinary perspectives and focuses on changes in both individuals and their contexts over multiple time scales, is a collaborative effort among the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, the University of Virginia, the Humboldt University of Berlin, the Free University of Berlin, University of Michigan and the University of Zurich.
