John R. Nesselroade

Hugh Scott Hamilton Professor of Psychology

John R. Nesselroade is a leading authority on quantitative research methods in the field of lifespan development, focusing on the aging process. His research interests include the study and modeling of intraindividual variability, the study of personality and ability to change, and developmental research methodology. Over the past 15 years at UVA, he has built a lifespan development program, and serves as the Director of the Center for Developmental and Health Research Methodology.
