Aniridia and Beyond Conference: Registration for Patients and Families

This conference is jointly sponsored by the University of Virginia and Aniridia Foundation International (AFI), an organization providing support and resources for aniridia patients.  All patient registrations are being handled by AFI, which has a standardized protocol for registering patients to insure that all information is collected in a uniform manner.  Please email register@aniridia.net for detailed registration information and details about the conference.

UVAAniridia and Beyond Conference: Registration for Researchers, Clinicians and Trainees

  1. Physicians and academic faculty attending from outside UVa.
    The registration fee to attend the research and clinical symposia on August 2 and 3 will be $150 to attend all of the lectures, and includes lunches on August 2 and 3 as well as the banquet in the evening of August 3.
  2. Physicians and academic faculty attending from UVa.
    Physicians and faculty from UVa are required to register, but there is no charge associated with attending conference events on August 2 and 3, and lunches are included at no charge.  Those who wish to attend the August 3 banquet may request purchase of a ticket for that event. 
  3. Students, trainees and postdoctoral fellows from outside UVa.
    While registration is required to attend the research and clinical symposia on August 2 and 3, there is no charge to attend these events.  For those who wish to have lunch on either day, or attend the August 3 banquet, please inquire about purchasing tickets for these events. 
  4. Students, trainees and postdoctoral fellows from UVa.
    While registration is required to attend the research and clinical symposia on August 2 and 3, there is no charge to attend these events, and lunches are included at no charge.  Those who wish to attend the August 3 banquet may request purchase of a ticket for that event.

Researchers, Clinicians and Trainees should email aniridia@virginia.edu to obtain appropriate registration forms and to arrange payment if required.  A detailed conference schedule including information about parking, site details, etc. will be provided upon registration. 

Subsidies for UVa attendees are being provided by the University of Virginia Vice President for Research, Office of the Provost, College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Department of Ophthalmology and Department of Biology.
