Archaeology Regional focus: Eastern North America. Topical interests: Collaborative indigenous archaeology, the archaeology of colonialism, zooarchaeology, historical archaeology. My research has focused mostly on Native American groups living along the East Coast of the United States. This past summer I completed my Master's degree in historical archaeology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. For the last two summers, I have been involved with the collaborative archaeological project being conducted on the Eastern Pequot reservation in North Stonington, CT. I am most interested in investigating the complex interactions that occurred and still occur between Native and Euro-American people in terms of identity, consumption, and hybridization.
