SUMMER LANGUAGE STUDY OF JAPANESE

2000 Dear Dean Huskey,

This photograph is a picture of myself with my homestay parents and their nephew. Though I've been studying Japanese for several years, this was my first time to do an extended homestay. There truly is no better way to learn a language than by "living" it—especially for an anthropologist. I had wonderful summer and am very grateful to have had this opportunity. Thank you for all the help you've given the Anthropology Department over the years. I wish you all the best in your retirement.

Sincerely,

Nona Moskowitz
