Welcome to the University of Virginia Arabic Program in the Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures. Our Program offers 4 years of academic Arabic language classes in addition to classes on Arab culture, Arabic literature in translation, Quranic Arabic and Conversational Arabic.  In conjunction with Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan, the University of Virginia offers an intensive eight week Arabic Language program in the summer.
