The discipline of landscape architecture is represented among the services provided to the University by the Office of the Architect.  The staff landscape architects provide professional guidance on the selection of landscape architectural consultants and the landscape and site design associated with building projects.   They manage the Memorial Tree and Bench program as well as the Grounds Improvement Fund (GIF) and provide assistance with landscape issues related to historic preservation, public art,  safety and security and sustainability initiatives at the University.
