Re-Connecting All Sectors of the University Grounds
Strategic placement of new buildings and associated circulation systems can re-establish links between graduate professional schools and core academic areas that were lost with expansion into North, East and West Grounds. Re-integrating varsity athletic facilities can also play an important role in achieving this goal. Planning initiatives in support of this principle include:

Constructing a pedestrian bridge over Emmet Street and connecting trails to link North and Central Grounds
Connecting Central Grounds to East Grounds over Jefferson Park Avenue as part of the South Lawn Project
Implementing circulation improvements along Jefferson Park Avenue
Maximizing opportunities for new development and improvements along Emmet Street
Construction of a multi-purpose arena on Massie Road

Parking and Transportation
Water Resources Management

Planning Workshops
