School of Architecture Dean
The Dean of the School of Architecture is a position of intellectual and administrative leadership of a vibrant and productive community in a public university, situated institutionally and architecturally in one of the most cherished cultural landmarks in American history. The successful candidate, whether in practice or academe, must demonstrate the leadership necessary to maintain and strengthen the School's national and international standing, to promote academic excellence, to develop and enhance the School's resources, and to inspire faculty, staff, and students to continue to build an outstanding institution. The successful candidate must possess a record of accomplishment in scholarship and/or professional practice sufficient to qualify for appointment as a tenured Full Professor in one of the departments of the School of Architecture.
