Paul Barolsky

Details from the early years of Paul Barolsky remain obscure. We do know, however, that he has been teaching at the University of Virginia since 1969, mostly courses on various aspects of Italian Renaissance art and literature. His books include Michelangelo’s Nose, Why Mona Lisa Smiles, and Infinite Jest. His most recent book is Michelangelo and the Finger of God.
