Elizabeth Schoyer has taught painting and drawing in the McIntire Department of Art since 1984. She earned her B.F.A in painting at the Philadelphia College of Art, her M.F.A. at Indiana University, and also studied painting at the Banff School of Fine Arts. Ms. Schoyer's work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the East coast and is held in several public collections. She teaches both introductory drawing courses and intermediate and advanced painting courses, frequently with an emphasis on overarching themes related to concurrent community programs.
