Contemporary artists follow many muses, as you will see from this selection,
which features realist paintings from the 1970s by Alfred Leslie, Lowell
Nesbitt, Jack Beal, and William Beckman, as well as abstract works by Larry
Poons, Ray Parker, and Gene Davis. Added to these are works by such artists
as Conrad Marca-Relli, Joan Mitchell, Robert Indiana, and Alex Katz, and
recent acquisitions by martha Alf, Ida Kohlmeyer, and John Baldessari. |
