About the collection

The permanent collection of The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia consists of approximately 13,000 objects. Approximately 10% of the collection is available at any time for research and exploration through our Online Collection, while our open storage and study areas—the Object Study Gallery, the Print Study Gallery, and Painting Storage—offer further insight into the collection for faculty, students, and the general public.
