About the museum


	The University of Virginia Art Museum exhibits art from around the world dating ancient times to the present. In addition to its permanent collection, the Museum offers changing exhibitions exhibitions, accompanied by related programs and publications.

Educator's workshops and resources

The Museum offers special programs for teacher-recertiﬁcation and professional growth in conjunction with the Center for Liberal Arts.

Writer’s Eye
Writers and U.Va. faculty will conduct presentations and break-out sessions on poetry, prose and classroom techniques for encouraging students’ creative writing. Note: After lunch, additional information about the Writer’s Eye competition will be made available. RSVP to 434.243.2050.
