The University of Virginia Art Museum exhibits art from around the world dating from ancient times to the present. In addition to its permanent collection, the Museum offers changing exhibitions, accompanied by related programs and publications.
Workshops for educators
Special programs for teacher-recertification and professional growth are offered in the Museum. Workshop topics are related to the Museum's exhibitions or public programs.
Political Cartoons: Humor, Satire, and Commentary for the Classroom scheduled on Tuesday, February 17, has been cancelled. There are no workshops for educators scheduled at the Museum for the 2008-09 academic year.

Family guidebooks and educator's guides will be posted for special exhibitions when available.
