Special programs for teacher-recertification and professional growth are offered in the Museum. Workshop topics are related to the Museum's exhibitions or public programs.

Workshop for educators for K–12 teachers and museum docents

In conjunction with the exhibition Treasures Rediscovered: Chinese Stone Sculpture from the Sackler Collections at Columbia University on view January 16 - March 14.

• Understanding the cultural and historical context of the objects
  
  
• Development of curriculum applications, hands-on activities, and museum tour strategies

  Eileen Hsiang-ling Hsu, independent scholar and co-curator of the exhibition at Columbia
  
  Jann Ronis, specialist in Religious Studies and Buddhism at the University of Virginia
