The Museum

The Fralin exhibits art from around the world dating from ancient times to the present. In addition to its permanent collection, the Museum offers changing exhibitions, accompanied by related programs and publications.

Special Exhibitions

The Fralin's special exhibitions feature a range of cultures and time periods, showcasing the Museum's permanent collection, and featuring important loans.

Events

The Fralin's events, such as the popular series of Final Friday receptions, provide a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying our exhibitions.

Collections

The Object Study Gallery features highlights from the Museum's collection. Through our new iPad app, users can explore many of these objects in 3D!

Membership

Museum membership provides increased access to the The Fralin through special events and receptions. Members are also invited to join UVaM for exciting trips to galleries, museums, and private collections both near and far.
