Approximately 1,000 members and donors make annual contributions to the University of Virginia Art Museum and provide almost half of its annual operating budget. The University's alumni, parents, and friends provide a vital stream of support for the many programs the Museum offers our students and our community.

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is used primarily to fund the Museum's day-to-day operations and immediate needs, enhancing the quality and breadth of Museum offerings through unrestricted, completely tax-deductible donations. Your Annual Fund gift will be put directly to work for the Museum in the areas where need is greatest. Find out more >

Gifts to the endowment and asset gifts

Endowment and asset gifts build the foundations of the Museum's future. Endowment gifts create guaranteed, permanent income for the Museum for such purposes as faculty positions, graduate student fellowships, art acquisitions, and ongoing cultural and educational programs.
