Docent-led group tours
Interactive tours of our special exhibitions and permanent collection galleries are offered by University student and community docents trained in the inquiry method of museum education. These tours are designed to increase visual literacy and art appreciation. They can also be planned to reflect subjects addressed in the classroom, or specific interests of visitors.
Both docent-led tours and self-guided group tours of 6 or more must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. To schedule a tour, please complete the Tour booking form and return it by email. The tour coordinator will contact you to confirm the availability of your requested date and time, and will email your completed Tour booking form with contact information for your docent.
Please allow one hour for your tour: 15 minutes for greeting and dismissal and 45 minutes for the gallery tour.
