The University of Virginia Art Museum and Community Partners; Computers4Kids,Virginia Arts of the Book Center, Music Resource Center, and McGuffey Art Center.
Tuition includes participation in all studio and Community Partner art classes, art supplies, and snacks. Lunches are available for an additional fee; please check the appropriate box on the application if you would like a bag lunch.
An exhibition of artwork produced by Summer Arts Young Artists will be held at the University of Virginia Art Museum on Sunday, July 27th from 2 to 4 pm.
Apprenticeships are available to high school students who show leadership and excel in art. Apprentices will assist artists and staff in many aspects of the program. Students must be recommended by their art teachers, who should email their recommendations to summerarts@virginia.edu by May 15, 2008.
