Every year, in conjunction with Garden Week in Virginia, members of the Museum's Volunteer Board organize Flowers Interpret Art, an exhibition of floral arrangements inspired by selected works on view in the Museum. Visitors enjoy the creativity and beauty of the presentations and vote for their favorite piece. Check our website or call 434.924.3592 to learn how you can enter or make reservations for the buffet.

Jan van Kessel, grandson of Jan Brueghel, specialized in small-scale pictures of the natural world. He worked from nature and used scientific texts as source material for his paintings.
