The Arts at the University of Virginia is dedicated to building on innovative research and fostering inspired expression that equips us for the future.
Final Fridays is a monthly showcase of the Arts at U.Va highlighting exhibits, performances, and lectures on Arts Grounds and across the University. The University Art Museum, Ruffin Gallery, The School of Architecture, The Fine Arts Library, and The Garden at Eunoia offer monthly receptions and gallery talks in conjunction with their exhibits. Music performances, Drama performances, and Creative Writing readings often join the line-up. We invite students, faculty, and community members to come experience this monthly showcase of the Arts at U.Va.!
Final Fridays is supported by the Office of the Vice Provost for the Arts and a collaboration of all things Arts at U.Va.

Earth, Fire, Air, Water offer students a rare opportunity to see and learn from their professors’ mature work. For the university at large, this exhibition is a chance to share in the creative research that members of the university community have produced in the last two years both on and off grounds. As a showcase of some of the best new artwork from Central Virginia and elsewhere, Earth, Fire, Air, Water is a must-see event for everyone in the Charlottesville area.
Come hear the U.Va. Marching Band Open Rehearsal at Carr's Hill Field on the corner of Emmett and Ivy Roads or go hang out on the downtown mall after the rehearsal to see the CMB Paint the Town Orange.
