Biology
203 is offered in the fall of each academic year to nearly
600 students in 20 or more 24-student lab sections. Each section
is staffed by a graduate lab instructor and an undergraduate
peer teacher. Biology
203 encompasses 2 primary areas: DNA analysis (transformation,
sequencing, RFLP and restriction mapping) and protein analysis
(affinity chromatography, concentration analysis, SDS gel
electrophoresis, peptide mapping). Peer teachers will work
closely with students in one lab section per week to enhance
the classroom learning experience and promote further understanding
of the material. Click
