I am a graduate student in Debbie Roach's lab. I am broadly interested in plant life history evolution and how populations separated in space respond to different pressures. Along these lines, I am examining the relationship between plasticity and ontogeny.

In my dissertation, I hope to investigate: 1) How plastic responses during the juvenile phase might constrain or influence the phenotype of the adult; 2) Whether plastic responses to a stimuli is temporally dependant; and 3) Whether spatially separated populations have variation in their sensitivities and responses to certain stimuli.
