BIO-CENTRAL CALENDAR
Kris Bajgier, Calendar Administrator

  What is it?

Bio-central is an electronic calendar for use by the Biology Department Staff in the areas of administration, accounting, human resources, laboratory assistance, information technology, and the stockroom.

  What is posted on Bio-Central?

Bio-central allows for staff to post birthdays and holidays, staff absneces, meetings, payroll deadlines and other events and deadlines pertinent to bio-staff@virginia.edu. Items that should not be posted to the calendar include:

Personal details about appointments and meetings (ex: "Meeting to discuss Joe's termination")

Personal commentary (ex: "Jill's Birthday Today - doesn't she look old?")
Personal schedules (ex: "Suzy's Dance Practice")
Any other items that may infringe on U.Va.'s Code of Ethics

Approximately 15-20 people will be using this calendar for reference and posting, so please use the calendar responsibly. Simply put, too much detail will render the calender unreadable.

  How do I access Bio-Central?

You must have both an Exchange Account at the University and Microsoft Outlook `97 (or later)
