STUDENT VISITS

Are you a prospective student who is thinking about an undergraduate degree in Biology? Would you like to visit the Department of Biology before you make a decision to join us? High school students and prospective transfer students may request an opportunity to meet with a current Biology student and/or faculty member in your research area of interest. These visits are a way for us to welcome and introduce prospective students to the Department of Biology. Visits to the Biology Department are not part of nor do they influence the admissions process. Parents are encouraged and welcome to attend all portions of the visit as well.

REQUEST A VISIT  TO THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY

To request a visit, please contact Marianne Hays, Administrative Assistant, 434-982-5474. We recommend contacting the department at least 1 week in advance of your expected visit date. This advanced notice allows us time to prepare a successful visit. Students who are interested in broader university information are highly encouraged to visit the Office of Undergraduate Admissions website for campus tours and information sessions.
