TRANSFER STUDENT INFORMATION |
| |
Students transferring to UVA and beginning their third year of undergraduate study should have already completed the introductory biology, chemistry, and math requirements for the BA. degree. Transfer students should plan on enrolling in at least one, 3000-level or higher biology course during their first semester of study at UVA. Transfer students should plan initially on pursuing a BA degree. If sufficient progress is being made towards this degree at the end of the third year, students and consult with their major advisor to determine if they can complete a BS degree by the end of their fourth year of study.

PREPARING TO TRANSFER |

1. To determine what courses you should take next semester, at your institution or upon transfer, it is important to know how the courses you have already taken may transfer to the Unievrsity of Virginia. Visit the College of Arts and Sciences' Transfer Credit Evaluator to look up your school and courses. |

2. Become familiar with Requirements for your School, Degree, and Pre-Professional Studies (if applicable). |

3. Develop a Personal Plan of coursework for your subsequent semesters at your institution or upon transfer to the University of Virginia |
