DISCUSSION: The Vice President and Provost will use this portion of the Educational Policy Committee meeting to inform the Board of Visitors of recent events which do not require formal action, but of which the Board should be made aware.

I.B. Blue Ribbon Commission Report

DISCUSSION: Mr. Robertson as a member of the Governor's Blue Ribbon Commission on Higher Education, and Mr. Greer will offer brief comments on the Commission's Report, which was issued in February 2000. They will begin a discussion of the potential impact of recommendations on the University, with special emphasis on those for which the Board bears some responsibility.
