AGENDA ITEM: I.A. Vice Presidents Remarks
DISCUSSION: Mr. Gene D. Block, Vice President for Research and Public Service, will represent Vice President and Provost Peter W. Low. Mr. Block will use this portion of the Educational Policy Committee meeting to respond to questions raised at the last meeting about enrollments in computer science courses and to inform the Board of Visitors of other recent events of which the Board should be made aware.

DISCUSSION: The Vice President will introduce the Chair-Elect of the Faculty Senate, Mr. Robert M. Grainger. Mr. Grainger will represent, Ms. Patricia H. Werhane, Chair of the Faculty Senate, and will brief the Board on the Senates agenda for the coming academic year and recent events which do not require formal action, but of which the Board should be made aware.
