REPORTS BY THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS
- A.
FINANCIAL AID REPORT -- The interim Director of Financial Aid,
Ms. Yvonne Hubbard, will report on current activities and trends
in financial aid; including, self-study efforts and innovative
programs like support for the Early Decision admissions program.
- B.
NEW STUDENT LEADERS -- Most student organizations have elected
new leaders for next academic year. The student leaders for several
important student organizations will be introduced to the Board.
- C.
HONOR SYSTEM REFORMS -- The Honor Committee will report on two
important initiatives. First, the Honor Committee will outline
a proposal for including Continuing Education students in the
Honor System. The second initiative is a report on a recent change
to the Honor Committees constitution which was approved in the
recent student elections.
- D.
UNIVERSITY MEDIATION SERVICES -- University Mediation Services
is a student organization that provides an alternative to traditional
conflict resolution services. This is a status report on this
organization's activities and its plans for the future.
