BY THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR DEVELOPMENT
A.
VICE PRESIDENT'S REMARKS -- The Vice President for Development
will review with the Board of Visitors a range of fund- raising
initiatives, including the 1998 Reunion Program, the regional campaign
kickoff follow-up plan, Lawn Society restructuring, and historic
preservation fund-raising.
B.
PHILANTHROPIC CASH FLOW -- The Vice President will assess
cash flow progress, citing any trends in annual capital and planned
gift support.
C.
CAMPAIGN PROGRESS FY98 STATUS -- The Vice President will
report on the progress of the Capital Campaign with figures through
November 30, 1997.
D.
MISCELLANEOUS REPORT/REPORT ON UNIVERSITY FOUNDATIONS The
Executive Vice President will review a status report on compliance
with the Policy on University-Related Foundations.
