REPORTS BY THE CHANCELLOR OF CLINCH VALLEY COLLEGE


A. CHANCELLOR'S REMARKS - The Chancellor will report on items of interest to the Committee.

B. LEGISLATIVE UPDATE - The Chancellor will provide a summary of legislative actions affecting Clinch Valley College.

C. STRATEGIC PLANNING - The Chancellor will review the progress to date in developing a long-term strategic plan.

D. ROLE OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL - The role of the Clinch Valley College Advisory Council and its relationship to the Board of Visitors need to be clarified. The Chancellor will lead a discussion about its responsibilities and authority.

E. HEALTHCARE IN SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA - Quality healthcare is a critical issue in southwest Virginia. The Chancellor will discuss the College's role in educating qualified caregivers to help meet the region's needs.
