- A.
ADJUDICATION OF SEXUAL ASSAULT CASES - Procedures for the adjudication
of sexual assault cases have been in place at the University of
Virginia since 1983. Enacted in 1992, a federal mandate requires
all colleges and universities to develop and maintain these procedures.
The proposed resolutions were developed after a comprehensive
review and will improve the Universitys process for adjudicating
sexual assault cases.
- B.
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SUPPORT FOR THE HONOR SYSTEM - This presentation
will describe the Alumni Association programs which provide on-going
support for the Honor System.
- C.
INTRODUCTION OF NEW STUDENT LEADERS - The newly elected student
leaders and students being recognized for their scholastic accomplishments
will be introduced to the Board.
- D.
ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF STUDENT ATHLETES - The Universitys Athletics
Department is committed to the successful academic and athletic
performance of all student athletes. To help student athletes
meet their academic goals, the Athletics Departments Academic
Affairs staff provide a variety of services and programs. This
presentation will focus upon four objective measures that describe
the academic standards of Virginia Athletics.
