I. CONSENT AGENDA

A. ARCHITECT SELECTION, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING BUILDING - Approves architect selection for an Information Technology Engineering building that will house the Computer Science, Systems Engineering, and Electrical Engineering Departments of the School of Engineering.

B. ARCHITECT SELECTION, ADMISSION BUILDING - Approves architect selection for a new building for the Office of Admission.

C. EASEMENTS, BLUE RIDGE HOSPITAL (ALBEMARLE COUNTY SERVICE AUTHORITY) - Approves an easement for the Albemarle County Service Authority for water service to the Michie Tavern complex, which currently receives its water supply from the Blue Ridge Hospital water tank.


II. REPORTS BY THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET

A. VICE PRESIDENT'S REMARKS - Mr. Snyder, Dean of the Darden School, will brief the Committee on the need for the Darden School expansion project. Ms. Capone will give an update on the feasibility study for a new Admission Building on the Central Grounds.

B. REPORT ON ACTIONS OF THE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE - Mr. Small will report on actions taken by the Buildings and Grounds Committee at a special meeting held on November 14, 1998.
