NAME CHANGE - Recommendation by the Clinch Valley College Board
that the College's name be changed to University of Virginia -
Wise. Throughout the history of the College there has been discussion
and dissatisfaction about the institutions name. During the past
nine months there has been intensive study of the Colleges name
involving the important constituencies.
- APPOINTMENTS
TO THE CLINCH VALLEY COLLEGE BOARD - Recommendation of appointments
to the Clinch Valley College Board by the Nominating Committee.
At the October 1998 meeting of the Board of Visitors a new entity,
known as the Clinch Valley College Board, was created. The Board
of Visitors' resolution established a nominating committee to
recommend appointments to this board.
