Susan Bruce, M.Ed., is Director of the University of Virginia's Center for Alcohol and Substance Education. She has fifteen years of experience in collegiate health promotion and is principal investigator for a NIAAA grant to change the role of alcohol in the UVA fraternity and sorority culture. She is co-director of the NCAA-sponsored APPLE conferences.
Ashley Crockett, M.Ed., is the Health Educator for the University of Virginia's Center for Alcohol and Substance Education. She serves as the co-coordinator for the NCAA-sponsored APPLE conferences. Also, Ashley is the co-advisor to the Student-Athlete Mentors (SAMs).
Adrienne Keller, Ph.D., is Director of Evaluation for the University of Virginia's Center for Alcohol and Substance Education. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Virginia and also Research Director for the National Social Norms Institute. Adrienne has over 25 years experience in community research and program evaluation in the United States and Canada, including working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Debra Reed serves as both an Administrative Assistant and Program Coordinator for the University of Virginia's Center for Alcohol and Substance Education. Debra has served the University of Virginia for twenty-five years; nineteen of which have been dedicated to the Center. For sixteen years, Debra has been co-coordinator of the NCAA-funded APPLE conferences. Her daily responsibilities include fiscal management of seven state and grant funded accounts, coordination of student community service hours and maintaining day to day operations in the office. In 2001, Debra received the IMP award of excellence for her service to the University community. In 2002 she was named the Office of the Dean of Students employee of the year.
