Susan Bruce, M.Ed., is Director of the University of Virginia's Center for Alcohol and Substance Education. She has fifteen years of experience in collegiate health promotion and is principal investigator for a NIAAA grant to change the role of alcohol in the UVA fraternity and sorority culture. She is co-director of the NCAA-sponsored APPLE conferences.
Debra Reed serves as both an Administrative Assistant and Program Coordinator for the University of Virginia's Center for Alcohol and Substance Education. Debra has served the University of Virginia for twenty-seven years; twenty-one of which have been dedicated to the Center. For eighteen years, Debra has been co-coordinator of the NCAA-funded APPLE conferences. Her daily responsibilities include fiscal management of seven state and grant funded accounts, coordination of student community service hours and maintaining day to day operations in the office.
