Choices Alcohol Education Program

The Choices alcohol education program is an evidence-based online program using the “Under the Influence” curriculum developed by 3rd Millennium Classrooms.  The program consists of seven lessons that can be completed in approximately three hours. This non-judgmental program provides personal feedback and emphasizes personal responsibility to create an engaging learning experience.

 

Students who complete the course generally have been sanctioned by the University Judicial Council or are encouraged to attend by one of the Deans on Call as a result of an alcohol-related policy violation, but any student can enroll in the course. Links to University and community resources are provided at the end of the class.  Please note that after you complete the registration form, it may take up to two business days to receive the login informatin for the online program. Every effort is made to send login information within 24 hours on week days.

 

Choices Marijuana Education Program

The Choices marijuana education program is an evidence-based online program using the “Marijuana 101” curriculum developed by 3rd Millennium Classrooms.  The program consists of six lessons that can be completed in approximately three hours.  This program is designed as a first intervention response to student marijuana use or paraphernalia possession and uses a non-confrontational approach to encourage self-reflection.  The course includes the e-TOKE marijuana self-assessment created by the e-CHUG team at San Diego State University.  Pre and post-tests provide measurements of students’ behavior change.
