Making a Deposit, Requesting a Refund
There is a $2.00 processing fee per deposit.
To Deposit $25 or more
Use the online deposit option to make a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover deposit.
To Deposit $50 or more
Use the printable deposit form. Simply complete the form, print it out, and mail it with your check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) information to:

You can also phone in a deposit using your credit card information to 434-982-5735. The office is located in the O'Hill Dining Hall, and we accept cash, checks, and credit card deposits. The office is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
You can also make deposits of $50 or more at the University Bookstore or TJ's Locker. They accept cash, checks and credit cards.
**First-year students can start making deposits to their Cavalier Advantage Accounts after they receive their University issued ID number which will be given to students at their Summer Orientation Sessions.
To Deposit Any Amount
Stop by the cash deposit machines located in Clemons Library, Alderman Library, the Science & Engineering Library at Clark Hall, Fiske Kimball Library at the Architecture School, Camp Library at the Darden School, the Health Sciences Library or O'Hill Dining Hall.
To Request a Refund
If you are graduating or withdrawing from the University and your Cavalier Advantage balance is greater than $20, you may request a refund. A $10 processing fee will be charged for all refunds, which will be removed from the remaining refundable balance. You may email your request to the office; simply include your name, ID card number, and the reason for the refund. If your last deposit was made using cash or check, a refund check will be mailed to you. If your last deposit was made using a credit card, a credit will be issued to the credit card.
