Mailing List
The CREVICER mailing list (crevicer-all@virginia.edu)
is now managed by Professor Kelly's CREVICER team at the University of
Virginia.
HAVING MEMBERS SUBSCRIBE THEMSELVES
People can subscribe themselves to open this majordomo lists. To subscribe
to an open list, each person should compose an electronic mail message
to: majordomo@virginia.edu
with the message text: subscribe crevicer-all
end
The wording must be exactly as shown, with no extra words, phrases or
spellings. The commands must appear on two lines.
The list owner will receive an electronic mail message each time someone
adds himself/herself to the list.
A WORD OF CAUTION ABOUT SUBSCRIBING FROM SOME EMAIL PROGRAMS
Some email programs (like Netscape and Outlook Express) have the ability
to create messages that are in "HTML format". Majordomo requires plain-text
messages. If you use an email program that sends messages in HTML format,
please turn off the HTML format option before sending your list management
commands to majordomo@virginia.edu.
If you need help in turning off the HTML tags in your email client please
send email to: consult@virginia.edu
or call the ITC Help Desk at (434) 924-3731. Some have also found that
adding a signature or a vcard to their message will cause problems with
maintaining a list; you may want to avoid these on messages you send to
majordomo@virginia.edu.
