Gladys Brown is the Associate Director for the Office of Women in Higher Education at the American Council on Education. Personally and professionally committed to diversity as a vehicle for institutional and curricular transformation, Brown works in her current position with campuses to identify women leaders, develop their leadership skills, advance their careers and sustain the tenure of senior level women in higher education. She is a Fellow at the Center for Higher Education Transformation in South Africa. Brown's responsibilities include directing the Kellogg Foundation-funded Project on Advancing Minority Women's Leadership in Higher Education, co-managing The Network (formerly the NIP Program), developing a Strategic Communication and Education Plan, and expanding the web site and database of the Office of Women in Higher Education.             Gladys Brown Associate Director, Office of Women in Higher Education, American Council on Education
