Angela E. Oh is a trial attorney who writes and lectures on issues related to race, diversity, and American culture. She serves as a Commissioner on the Los Angeles City Human Relations Commission and is a trustee or board member for several organizations.

From 1987 to 1998, Oh was a partner at the Los Angeles firm of Beck, De Corse, Daly, Barrera & Oh. In 1997, she was appointed by President Clinton to the President's Initiative on Race. When her appointment ended in 1998, she turned her focus from law to a national discussion about race. In 1999, she was a lecturer, visiting scholar and lawyer-in-residence at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Oh remains involved in Advisory Councils for Washington Mutual Bank, Southern California Edison, and the Korean Youth and Community Center.
