The Center for the Liberal Arts Arthur Vining Davis Fellowship provides Virginia high school teachers with a chance to pursue independent research projects for a year. The AVDF Fellows are selected from CLA-sponsored summer institutes and create projects based on the research they have pursued during these summer programs. AVD projects are designed to aid other high school teachers in the instruction of topics covered by the summer institutes.
