Each spring, the Edgar and Eleanor Shannon Foundation for Excellence in Public Education: Charlottesville/Albemarle asks each of its current grant recipients to summarize his or her project and its results in a short report to the Foundation. We are particularly interested in discovering whether the funds we provided to each teacher made an appreciable difference in the quality of students' learning.
