The undergraduate major in
cognitive science at the University of Virginia prepares students for
a wide variety of career opportunities. The options available depend
on the particular program of study designed by the student.
Knowledge, intelligence, logic, and
information processing form a subject matter that can and should be
studied from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. These include cognitive
psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, linguistics, and computer science.
