South Lawn Project Update: March 27, 2008
Construction of the bus stop at the Jefferson Park Avenue and Brandon Avenue intersection is expected to begin on Wednesday, April 2. Other work beginning includes construction of the footings for the north side of the terrace and utility installation on the north side of JPA in preparation for the terrace foundation.
Utility work on the bank above the bus stop is about 75 percent complete. Drilling of the caissons on the north side of JPA continues, and limited backfill between the north and south buildings is ongoing.
The project is about 14 percent complete.
