South Lawn Project Update: July 2007
Parking lots at the Bice House and 434 Brandon Avenue are complete and the B-1 parking lot has been closed.
Boring for utilities beneath JPA continues. University-owned properties at 409 and 411 Valley Road have been demolished and a storm water retention basin is being installed on the property.
The temporary bus stop and sidewalk are complete and in use as is a temporary path from Valley Road to Brandon Avenue.
Site fencing is being installed with wood fencing planned upon the completion of the duct bank work that is currently underway along the south side of JPA. By the end of July, jersey (concrete) barriers will be moved to begin installation of the western end of the duct bank.
In August, plans include removing the jersey barriers and re-striping JPA in preparation for further activities.
