On Wednesday, April 24, U.Va. hosted the Earth Week Expo, a free lunch and learn community event. Opened by Pat Hogan, U.Va.’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, the day featured three speakers. Each described how nitrogen footprint research at the University of Virginia is contributing to a new understanding of the environment and prompting institutional and individual change.
Many exhibits from departments on Grounds were displayed as well as posters from the annual U.Va. Student Sustainability Project Competition.
