East Chiller Plant
Construction of the U.Va. Medical Center’s East Chiller Plant is expected to begin soon. The plant, located adjacent to Lee Street, will supply cold water to the medical center.
In preparation for the plant’s construction, a retaining wall will be erected around the site. In addition, Crispell Drive and Lee Street will be realigned with Roosevelt Brown Boulevard. During the realignment, two lanes are expected be kept open on both Crispell Drive and Lee Street.
