Finals Weekend Slated for Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17
The University of Virginia’s Finals Weekend 2009 begins with Valedictory Exercises at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16. Sunday’s Final Exercises begin with the traditional procession from the Rotunda down the Lawn at 10 a.m. The commencement speaker will be Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III, U.Va. BOV Approves Tuition Increase for In-State Students
The U.Va. Board of Visitors recently approved lower-than-expected increases in tuition and fees for undergraduate Virginians. The increase -- just $375, or 5 percent -- brings annual tuition and fees for in-state full-time students to $7,873.
